Terms of Use

1. Operator and scope

The Caliber website and platform are operated by CALIBER PARTNERS - FZCO, Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Caliber”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Terms of Use apply to access to and use of our website, member workspaces and related platform features. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the platform.

These terms do not replace a signed organization services agreement, placement agreement, freelancer agreement, confidentiality agreement or other separate contract. If there is a conflict concerning a service or engagement, the applicable separate agreement takes priority for that subject.

2. Accounts and authority

You must have legal capacity to enter into these terms and use the services in your location. Keep account information accurate, use your own authorized access and complete required verification. An organization account must be created and used by someone authorized to act for that organization.

Keep passwords, verification messages, invitations and private document links secure. Do not share an account or use someone else's credentials. Notify Caliber promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Organization owners and authorized members are responsible for granting suitable permissions and keeping membership current. Access to an organization or record is subject to verification and the permissions provided through the platform.

3. Services and separate agreements

Caliber supports talent profiles, opportunities, matching, applications, interviews, contracting and engagement administration. Depending on the service agreed, Caliber contracts separately with organizations and professionals, administers organization invoicing and manages talent payment records.

Creating an account, viewing a profile, receiving a match or submitting an application does not by itself create an employment relationship or an agreement to provide or purchase services. Any obligations arising from an introduction or placement are governed by the applicable separate agreement.

Scope, rates, fees, payment timing, work approval, expenses, taxes, notice periods, conversion arrangements and other commercial obligations belong in those private agreements. These public terms do not establish a standard rate, payment deadline or employment status.

A platform status records the state of the relevant workflow. It does not replace a signed agreement, a bank confirmation or a required legal authorization. Questions about an invoice or payment should be raised with Caliber through the relevant record or support channel.

4. Information you provide

Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and correct material errors when you become aware of them. Do not invent qualifications, references, work authorization, organization authority or work records.

You must be entitled to upload and share documents, role descriptions, personal information and other material. Obtain any permission required to supply another person's information, and avoid including confidential or sensitive material unrelated to the service.

You permit Caliber to store, process, format and share submitted material as needed to provide the requested services, subject to the Privacy Policy, applicable permissions and separate agreements. This permission does not transfer ownership of your material to Caliber.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, abusive or misleading activity.
• Impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your authority.
• Access records without permission, bypass security or interfere with the platform.
• Upload malicious software or material that infringes another person's rights.
• Scrape or bulk-copy private profiles, contact information or documents, or use them for unsolicited marketing or unrelated recruitment.
• Share confidential information outside its authorized purpose or recipients.

6. Matching and decisions

Caliber uses automated tools, including AI, to process documents and support matching. Extracted information, eligibility assessments and explanations can contain errors or omit relevant context. Review your information and raise inaccuracies with Caliber.

A match, score, shortlist, profile or opportunity is not a guarantee of suitability, availability, work authorization, employment or a successful engagement. Relevant checks and decisions remain subject to the parties' responsibilities under applicable law and their separate agreements.

Do not treat an AI-generated description as independent verification of a person's qualifications or an organization's requirements. See our Privacy Policy for information about automated processing and review requests.

7. Privacy and confidentiality

Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is handled and how to make a privacy request. Accepting these terms does not replace any separate consent required by law.

Access to a CV, contact detail, interview record, agreement or invoice does not authorize unrestricted reuse or publication. Use information only for its authorized recruitment, engagement or administrative purpose, and comply with applicable data-protection requirements and confidentiality obligations.

Commercial agreements and engagement documents are private. Their availability in a workspace does not make them public or permit sharing beyond authorized recipients.

8. Intellectual property

Caliber and its licensors retain their rights in the platform, brand, software and website content. You may use them to access the services, but may not reproduce or commercially exploit them beyond permission granted by Caliber or applicable law.

You and the relevant rights holders retain ownership of material you submit. Ownership and licensing of work produced during an engagement are governed by the applicable private agreements, not by uploading a file or accepting these platform terms.

9. Availability and account access

Features can be unavailable during maintenance, technical failures or changes to a service. External websites, meeting services and other third-party tools have their own terms and availability.

Caliber may restrict or suspend access where necessary to address suspected misuse, unauthorized access, a legal requirement or a breach of these terms. Contact us if you believe access has been restricted in error.

You can contact Caliber to request account closure. Account closure or restricted access does not by itself cancel an engagement, end a separate agreement, remove accrued payment obligations or erase records that must lawfully be retained.

10. Responsibility

Use reasonable care when relying on information obtained through the platform and tell us about material errors. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free automated output or a particular recruitment or business outcome.

Each party remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law and separate agreements. Any agreed service warranties, liability limits or remedies in those agreements continue to apply to their subject matter. These terms do not exclude liability or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Law and disputes

These platform terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in Dubai, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Contact Caliber first so we can try to resolve a question or complaint.

A separately agreed governing law, court or dispute-resolution process continues to apply to the services and disputes covered by that agreement. These terms do not change those provisions or prevent you from exercising a mandatory legal right.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the platform or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version. Where required, we will provide notice or request acceptance of a material change. Updating this page does not amend a separate signed agreement.
